Product Manager

Next IT, a Verint company, has an immediate need for a Product Manager to work out of our Spokane Valley, WA office. The Product Manager is assigned to the Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) division within the Verint Intelligent Self-Service department. The Product Manager will own the strategic direction and feature requirements for the IVA conversation analysis suite.

This position will interface with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, Research, and Delivery groups to best understand user needs and feasible approaches to meet those needs. The Product Manager will create product requirements, deliver release notes, provide demonstrations, and perform market research to assist in go-to-market strategy.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

· Identifies market opportunities

·         Defines and manages the definition of product vision and strategy

·         Converts the vision to a product roadmap

·         Identifies new products or enhancements to existing products by:

·         Understanding and analyzing user needs

·         Understanding Verint’s current product suite

·         Understanding business requirements of internal functions like sales and delivery

·         Writes specifications, prioritizes features, builds consensus and coordinates product schedules

·         Assists with the creation of specifications, prioritization of features, building of consensus and coordination of product schedules

·         Creates or leads others in the creation of mockups, wireframes or POCs

·         Gathers and incorporates product feedback into subsequent product releases

·         Creates formal product documentation such as feature sheets and user guides

Minimum Requirements:

·         BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent field experience

·         3+ years of product management experience

·         Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding product strategy

·         Proven ability to turn unclear problem spaces into clear solutions

·         Solid mix of technical, product and business intelligence

·         Exceptional written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

·         Experience defining, managing and building software solutions

·         Strong data analysis skills

·         Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, credit check and a Social Security verification.

Preferred Requirements:

·         Demonstrated success in driving results in collaborative, cross-functional environments with little instruction or  oversight

·         Hands-on experience with website analytics or BI solutions

·         Surface-level understanding of modern machine learning techniques, particularly within text processing

·         Intermediate proficiency in any programming or scripting language

·         Experience implementing chatbots or IVAs

·         UI/UX design experience
